Identify the material
Start with the grade, colour and substrate. Confirm that the sample identifier in a report corresponds to the material you are evaluating.
Clarity behind the colour
A useful report identifies a specific sample, a defined method and a result. We help you ask for the documentation that relates to your material.
Start with the grade, colour and substrate. Confirm that the sample identifier in a report corresponds to the material you are evaluating.
Check the method, report date, tested substances or properties, and the conditions used. A test report is not a blanket certification of every product.
Review the final application and destination-market requirements with your technical team. A material test does not replace finished-product assessment.
Record the sample and specification accepted during development. Use the same reference when requesting a quotation and reviewing production.
Available documentation
Open the supplied originals and compare the tested sample with your specification. These records apply to the samples and methods identified in each document.

A test report records a result for a submitted sample. An SDS or MSDS provides safety information. Neither should be presented as a certification of every colour, series or finished product.
From incoming material to retained sample
Our stated quality process includes incoming material inspection, checks during production, and finished colour, particle and thickness inspection. Retained batch samples provide a reference for colour review, with final screening before packing. Agree the relevant acceptance criteria and sample reference for your order.
Compare material choices & environmental evidence
Environmental information
Biobased, water-degradable, biodegradable and compostable are not interchangeable descriptions. For PLA and plant-fiber materials, request the composition and relevant test evidence for the complete selected grade. Look at the environment, duration, method and result rather than relying on the product name.
A result for one sample, colour or formulation should not be generalised to other materials. Similarly, material-level evidence alone does not establish how a finished consumer product can be labelled or sold in a particular market.
